Acerola, known as the Barbados cherry, is native to Central America and the Caribbean. The favorable climate also allows cultivation in South America, the USA, Australia, some parts of Asia and Africa. Acerola fruits are tender and easy to spoil, which is why they are made into juices that can be made into a dry powder. Due to the high content of natural vitamin C, acerola extract is part of many vitamin preparations.

Natural vitamin C in acerola extract, mainly:

supports the proper functioning of the immune system during and after physical activity,

helps in the proper production of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of blood vessels, bones and skin,
